| This section of emuWorks is for save state submissions. You can use it to submit your own save state archives to emuWorks. |
emuWorks is now accepting submissions to our save state archives. If you would like to play through a game and make savestates at multiple locations as we do and let us post it, this is the place to submit it.
How does it work? Just play a game through on an emulator. At various points during the game (rule of thumb is no more than one save state per game hour), stop and make a savefile (save state and save ram file if applicable). You should use the same emulator as we do. This is so there is no conflict with other archives. For Nintendo games, use fceultra. For Super Nintendo games, use ZSnes. For Nintendo 64 games, use mupen64. For Sega Genesis games, use Gens. For Nintendo Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games, use VisualBoyAdvance.
If you want to use a different emulator, or a system we didn't mention, please contact us first.
Submissions are limited to 3 MB in size. If you need to send more than 3 MB, you will need to contact us first.
Submission Rules
- No save states that require cheats.
- Only save states that play through a game completely.
- We will add our a file to the archive telling people it came from emuWorks. Your name will also be credited as the author.
- You should only submit a single file for each game. This can be a ZIP archive or a tarball. Put all the save states in separate directories inside this archive.
