Updated wxCHTDecoder to version 1.3. It
fixes the problem of no file filters in the Linux/GTK version. There are
also a myriad of minor code changes and a big switch to autoconf for
creating the Makefiles. I also removed the Visual Studio makefile as I
don't intend to use VC to build my wxWidgets programs anymore.

Updated wxCHTDecoder to version 1.2. It
fixes the problem of no console output in Windows. I also added a DLL
for Windows which should make it run on Windows 98 (possibly 95 and ME,
too).

Added wxCHTDecoder, a C++ version of the
ZSNES CHTDecoder program using wxWidgets as a cross-platform GUI
toolkit. The CHTDecoder pages have also been restructured now that there
are four different versions.

Updated the Super Mario
64 (N64) savestates with all 120 stars. I used Project64 instead of
mupen, but I only included save ram (.eep) files so that will not
matter. As a bonus, all except the save states with Bowser will be
a very small download (under 1 KB) since the eep files are only
.5 KB. I did not redo the Bowser save states, but the ending changes
only slightly if you have all 120 stars.

Updated the site to be HTML 4.01 compliant. Sorry to the users of
good and correctly implemented browsers like Mozilla Firefox. Some of
the pages on emuWorks may have looked weird or not have appeared
at all, whereas they would have seemed fine to internet explorer users.
At the bottom of all pages is a link to the W3C HTML validator which
tells you if a page is HTML 4 compliant. I also put up a jEdit image
link as I edit this site with jEdit, and jEdit rocks!

JavaScript form validation checks and minor semantic corrections.

-
Updated the PHP CHTDecoder so that
you can get a text version, too. Very similar to the Java version
now. I also updated the interface slightly.
-
Created the save state submission page.
You can now submit your own save states to emuWorks. The rules
are simple. Play through a game making periodic saves at
important points. When you are all finished, you can submit
your states to us and we will post them. Read the rules and
information on the page for more details.

Added PHP CHTDecoder, a PHP version
of the Java CHTDecoder program. Outputs to the browser only, not
to a text file. It is limited to 5000 codes, but this is only
to keep file size down. There is no limit in the Java version.

Recoded the site in PHP. It looks mostly the same, but there are
a few navigation changes that I think makes things easier. The logo
at the top of the page will now take you to the homepage. A few
directory names were changed, but I have added Apache rewrite rules
so no bookmarks should need changing.
-
Separated the news into current and 'old'. Put up the first old
news page of items added between July 12 and
August 14.
-
Added the legal information page. It can
also be reached from the copyright link at the bottom of every
page.
